Post-Treatment Instructions for Cellenis Derma PRP

SKINCARE

You may gently cleanse your skin 6 hours after treatment using lukewarm water and a mild cleanser, applying only with clean hands and avoiding any scrubbing or exfoliating tools. Keep the skin lightly moisturized with a gentle hydrator and begin using a mineral sunscreen the next day, reapplying regularly if you are outdoors. To support proper healing, avoid all retinols, acids, exfoliants, and active skincare products for three to five days.

Do not apply ice—controlled warmth and inflammation are essential for collagen stimulation.

DISCOMFORT

Mild warmth, tenderness, and swelling are normal for the first 24–72 hours. If needed, you may take Tylenol (Acetaminophen), but avoid NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, or aspirin, as they can interfere with the regenerative process. Do not massage or attempt to correct any lumps or unevenness yourself.

WARMTH & REDNESS

A sunburn-like warmth and visible redness are expected and typically improve within one to three days. This is part of the PRP activation process, and you should not apply ice or cooling masks, as this can disrupt collagen stimulation.

SWELLING

Some swelling may appear immediately or within the first 24 hours and usually improves after a couple of days. Sleeping on your back with your head elevated for the first two nights can help minimize this effect.

ACTIVITY

For the first 48 hours, avoid intense exercise, sweating, hot yoga, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming. Refrain from facials, chemical peels, microneedling, lasers, or any aggressive treatments for two weeks while the skin heals.

MEDICATIONS & SUPPLEMENTS TO AVOID

To minimize bruising and prevent interference with the PRP healing cascade, avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, and supplements such as garlic, gingko, flax oil, cod liver oil, vitamin A, and vitamin E for five days unless prescribed by your doctor.

HEALING EXPECTATIONS

It is normal to experience mild swelling, tenderness, warmth, and a temporary feeling of tight or textured skin. Bruising may occur and can take several days to resolve. Avoid picking, rubbing, or manipulating the treated areas, as controlled inflammation is a necessary part of the collagen- and elastin-building process.
